El Bendecido Deli Grocery is a small, family-run Dominican bodega in the Bronx, open since 2019. It’s the kind of place where regulars come by for a plate of hot food, grab their everyday essentials, and often stay to talk.

Everything is made fresh on-site. From arroz with habichuelas, roasted or stewed chicken, pastelitos, and fried fish to spaghetti and daily sides—meals are served hot from the steam table. You can also pick up cold drinks, snacks, and kitchen staples.

We serve a local, mostly Latino neighborhood of all ages—Dominican, Puerto Rican, Honduran and more. Whether it’s kids stopping in for pastelitos or adults just needing a break, El Bendecido is a familiar, no-fuss space.
